Creamed Beef on Toast

1 small package chopped/pressed/cooked/sliced beef
4 slices toast
3 Tbsp oil
3 Tbsp flour
1-1/2 cups milk
salt & pepper

1. Tear the thinly-sliced beef into small pieces.
2. Toast 4 slices of bread.
3. In a skillet over medium heat, stir together the oil and flour, and let cook for about a minute.
4. Add the milk to the skillet, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
5. Stir in the beef, salt & pepper to taste, and serve immediately over toast.
