Louis came to Kansas about 1908 and worked as a carpenter in the Colwich, Kansas area and then was a farmer at Goddard, Kansas after he married. He married Albertina Marguerita Wetta on 07/12/1912, daughter of Joseph and Mary Wetta, both born in Alsace, France. She was born at Germania, Kansas, now St. Marks, Kansas. Both are buried in the Aleppo cemetery near Garden Plain, Kansas. She died 10/01/1973.
Later lived at 123 S. Clarence St, Wichita.
